Non-Profit of the Year
2025’s Non-Profit of the year was Rotary Club of Flora.
To win non-profit of the year you must meet the following criteria:
1. Must be a local charitable organization in Clay County
2. Organization must be in existence for over 3 years
3. Must be a current Chamber Member in good standing
4. Made community contributions, involvement or services in the community
New Business of the Year
2025’s New Business of the year was Flora’s Diner.
To win new business of the year you must meet the following criteria:
1. Chamber member during the current year.
2. Started business within last two years.
3. Number of new jobs created in Flora
4. Opened Physical location in Flora
5. Plans in place for future expansion and/or jobs creation.
Business of the Year
2025’s business of the year was Two Glitzy Girlz. To win business of the year you must meet the following criteria:
1. Chamber member during the current year.
2. Have been in business for at least one year.
3. Community Contributions
(Must meet one of the following four statements)
A. Created new jobs over the last year.
B. Expanded the physical location(s) of the business within the city.
C. Has been a long time employer
D. Plans in place for future expansion and/or Jobs creation.
Citizen of the Year
2025’s Citizen of the year was Peggy James.
To win citizen of the year you must meet the following criteria:
1. The recipient of this award should be an individual who, as a volunteer, has promoted the economic and business growth or has provided an outstanding community service to the City of Flora.
2. Does not have to be an associate Chamber member.
